The vintage ashtray smoking stand was completely disassembled to its individual parts. Each part was thoroughly cleaned using a soft bristle brush and cleaning solution. Once dried, each piece was polished using Simichrome. The center metal pole was scrubbed lightly with steel wool. The part holding the ashtrays seemed to have been covered in wax, which was removed using hot water. We found stainless steel propellers that are original parts to this type of ashtray smoking stand with plane and replaced them. Once all parts were cleaned and reassembled, OnAim tested the lamp and all seems to be in good working order.
